I also was at the New National Museum this past week, for a little Magritte Exhibition.
I do not have much Information about this Pictures, but it was just interesting and I enjoyed it.
Here the Work Titled “Empire of Lights”. It’s a mysterious work where the two worlds of day and night are mixed.
And the very next day I went to the Museum, it happened that the Scenery in Tokyo was like this: a blue Sky even at night. Doesn’t it look a bit like “Empire of Light”? Impressed with this Skyline I was looking at it for a while.
If it was not been for this Painter and his strange view of the World, I actually might not have seen this mysterious sky.
