I headed to Okutama after a long time, to watch the fireworks.
Here, the Fireworks display is not so large, but the number of visitors is extremely small, so it was spacious, and I didn’t have to stand in long queues to get some Takoyaki, or wait long time for a train.
It was actually just the opposite as the large Fireworks Festivals I had in my memory, where, as a child you needed to scream, and was still not heard by adults.
Here the Fireworks were not so flashy, but when it finished, everybody was clapping, cheering and smiling.
It takes just a little ride from the City center, to view the Fireworks in the middle of Nature in Okutama. Highly recommended.
