A present for Toyo-kun

Green chestnuts are beautiful.

Pumpkins, grown by cross-fertilization. I let them rest so I don't know the taste yet.

There is an ASIAN BLACK BEAR, named TOYO-kun, who has been taken care of by the JAPAN BEAR AND FOREST SOCIETY, (which I'm a member of), at the Takashiro temple in Osaka, and he needs acorns as food for hibernation.

There were no trees of acorn nearby so I, who lived in Tokyo, felt very frustrated that I wasn't "helpful" about this matter. However, when I went to a park which had a lot of green, and at a distance reachable by bicycle, many, many acorns fell!

I was so glad, that I collected the acorns of QUERCUS SERRATA absorbedly.

Yoo-hoo, yoo-hoo, yoo-hoo!
