Life... Peace

There was a free magazine…, or free newspaper? I used to read it often, many years ago.

I found such newspaper lying in a corner of Laforet HARAJUKU and it was like beeing drawn to it.

I could hardly wait for the newspaper to be published.

It is no longer being published, but I sometimes read it over.

“What would you do if today were the last day of your life?”

In the issue with the Theme “TODAY”, various people gave answers to this question.

A Native American woman was also featured.

“a very good day to die”

It is a famous poem of the Native American, expressing their view on life and death.

I feel like being finally able to understand it.

They don’t have the concept of land ownership, from which I have much to learn.

Her nice smile represents her life.

On the other hand, in the issue of "Open Up Time" various historical events are featured.

It was thanks to such people who strived to live in difficult times that we can live a peaceful life.

The preamble to the Japanese Constitution is described in it, which is very precious and beautiful.

“We, the Japanese people, recognize that all people of the world have the right to live in peace and free from fear.”

And about John Lennon.

The words of Mahatma Gandhi, (“An eye for an eye will make us all blind”,) are shown at the end of John Lennon’s music video, "Happy Xmas"

I write down these words in my Agenda every year.

Long-lasting problem to be solved.

Once I start talking about it,the morning will come quickly.

But let's imagine.

Imagining, I’m going to bed.
