Fireworks and Peace

Fireworks (Nagaoka Hanabi) exploded over the river in my hometown, Nagaoka, Nigata this year again.

I wasn’t able to go to the fireworks display, but I recorded a program broadcasted live on TV and watched it later in a dark room .

Fireworks were so impressive and I was so moved!

Nagaoka Fireworks were displayed last year in Honolulu, U.S.A, its sister city, in honor of victims of the American - Japanese war (the Pacific War), and with prayers for everlasting peace in the world.

I wonder if the wish Kiyoshi Yamashita had while seeing fireworks.comes true. (Text below)

"If everyone making beautiful fireworks and don't making bombs, maybe war isn't happened."

Speaking of peace, the Olympics and Paralympics which are called a celebration of peace.

World’s top athletes show remarkable performances under tension and pressure in a special arena at the Olympic Games held once every four years. I was so moved by them.

Our live show is around the corner.

We run full speed toward this summer!
