Summer Food

The Daruma Doll- Wind chime at my house, lets me know the wind blowing by the sound “Clink Clink” this year, too.

One day, being lured outside by the sound of wind chime, I saw ten parakeets on the electric cable.

I was just getting my eyes on them.

I spent this summer wearing Nuno Zori (zori sandals made of cloth) which my elder brother gave me.

And I often tasted Okra, Mulukhiyah, Chinese yam, Natto (fermented soybeans), Land seaweed from Okinawa called ”Unnan Hyakuyaku” which are my favorite food..

Eating sticky food, I survive the hot summer.
