Day Trip
Getting a rental car, I took a day trip to the area around Lake Kawaguchi.
I visited the ITCHIKU KUBOTA ART MUSEUM.
I couldn't take pictures. But I felt a series of works expressing subtle seasonal changes were remarkable and concepts evolving to space were amazing.
The exotic buildings and gardens were so beautiful.

And I came by a cave and experienced the below zero temperature.

When I drove further to Lake Saiko, I recalled that I visited there on a Fan Tour several years ago. It seems nice to spend time by a quiet lakeside. I want to come again.

Now, “Monthly Nigata Komachi”, the magazine in which I write a column was issued this month, too.
I wrote a column about “Drinking Tea” in last month's issue and about “Letting Go“ this month . Both topics are very important for me.
And this has nothing to do with me, but this month’s feature article is “Ramen” as the cover shows. Reading the article, I was surprised that Ramen in Nigata has become so diversified and has been booming.
I haven't had a chance yet to have Ramen, even when I visited my parents. But referring to this article, I’d like to visit any of the restaurants featured in the magazine.
