Snow...

I've been back home to Niigata for a little while.

SAI-NO-KAMI Festival was held this year. I got rid of bad luck (not my unlucky year) and got some lucky charm so I was able to greet a new year.

Heavy snow has been reported in each place. In my hometown, it snowed hard, but the amount of snowfall was the same level as usual.

Snow was so beautiful so I felt refreshed.

The buds of the Plum wait still for Spring.

It's difficult to see because my foot was covered with snow. I walked on fresh snow with snowshoes.

There is a statue of RYOKAN, who is famous in Niigata, at Nagaoka station.

RYOKAN, who was known by poverty, and had been loved by everybody. I kept him in the back of my head as knowledge in my school days, but now, I understand his greatness.
